A middle school GT Academy and a GT Mentorship program are also offered for selected students. All of these programs are offered through an application process, which includes a combination of academic performance data, test scores and interviews.Students apply for high school academies as 8th graders. Students must reside in the FBISD attendance zone during this application window in order to apply. Students may not apply and will not be accepted outside of this process. In order to properly staff our programs, create schedules, and train staff we must limit the application period for all specialized programs. There are no exceptions to this policy.
